Everything you need to know before your first visit to Balance Fit.
Is Balance Fit open to everyone?
Yes — Balance Fit is a friendly fitness studio in Oradea for everybody who wants a balanced life. All ages and fitness levels are welcome.
Can I bring a friend to Balance Fit?
Of course — Balance Fit is like a family. Bring a friend or family member to a class; their first class is free too.
What should I wear to Balance Fit classes?
Just comfortable sportswear and clean indoor training shoes — that is all you need for any Balance Fit class.
Which classes does Balance Fit offer?
Alongside one-to-one Yumeiho manual therapy sessions, Balance Fit runs five weekly class formats — four classes following the certified BODYART standard (BodyArt Medical & Recovery, BodyArt Myofascial, BodyArt Breathwork, and BodyArt Deepwork) plus the Balance class, which blends exercises inspired by yoga, Pilates and tai chi. The full weekly timetable is in the schedule section of the homepage.
Is the first class free?
Yes — your first class at Balance Fit is completely free. Pick any class from the schedule, send us a message on WhatsApp, and come try it.
How do I book a class at Balance Fit?
Balance Fit is a class studio, not a gym — every class and therapy session needs a reservation; there are no walk-ins. Book on WhatsApp (+40 741 600 454) — tell us the class name and time, and the team confirms your spot.
What is the class cancellation policy at Balance Fit?
If you cannot attend, let Balance Fit know at least 2 hours before the class on WhatsApp so the spot can be released to someone else.
How much do sessions and classes cost at Balance Fit?
Prices at Balance Fit in Oradea are in the 200-400 RON range, depending on the service — one-to-one therapy or group classes. Your first group class is free, so you can try the studio before you decide. Message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you the current price of the service you are interested in, or see the Prices section on the homepage.
Are the classes suitable for beginners? How do I choose the right class?
Yes — every class at Balance Fit adapts to your level. For gentle back and posture care, start with BodyArt Medical & Recovery or BodyArt Myofascial; for a flowing blend of yoga, Pilates and tai chi exercises, choose Balance; for stress relief, BodyArt Breathwork; and for an athletic workout, stamina and weight loss, BodyArt Deepwork.
Do you offer traditional yoga, Pilates, or tai chi classes? Is it suitable for seniors?
At Balance Fit we do not teach separate traditional yoga, classical Pilates, or traditional tai chi classes — what follows formal certified standards here is Yumeiho therapy and the BodyArt system. Instead, our Balance class brings together the best of all three in one relaxed, music-led session on the mat: mobility and balance from yoga, core and postural stability from Pilates, and continuous, fluid movement from tai chi. Its calm, joint-friendly pace suits both beginners and seniors — and your first class is free.
What stretching exercises help with tight hips and hamstrings?
Long hours sitting shorten the hip flexors and tighten the backs of the thighs (hamstrings), which also pulls on the lower back. The BodyArt Myofascial class works through these chains with foam-roller release and sustained fascial stretches, while Balance keeps the hips and spine mobile at an easy, flowing pace.
Which classes help with weight loss and toning?
Consistent movement you enjoy naturally supports weight loss, toning and an active metabolism. BodyArt Deepwork is our most dynamic class — high-energy bodyweight cardio and strength intervals — while Balance and the other BodyArt classes build deep muscle tone and mobility without overloading your joints.
What is Yumeiho therapy and how does it work?
Yumeiho is a Japanese therapeutic massage and manual therapy method that works with the body as a whole: it combines deep therapeutic muscle massage and acupressure point work with joint mobilisation and pelvic and spine realignment. Sessions are one-to-one on a floor mat in comfortable clothes, and pair naturally with movement recovery in BodyArt classes or physiotherapy.
What can help with lower-back pain at Balance Fit?
Lower-back pain is the most common reason people come to Balance Fit. Start gently: Medical & Recovery and Myofascial classes work on posture, slow stretching and the muscles that support the lumbar area. For persistent or sharper pain, a one-to-one Yumeiho session works on alignment directly. The first class is free — come tell Mónika what your back needs.
I sit at a desk all day and my back hurts — is there a class for me?
Many people come to Balance Fit with back or neck pain from desk work. Medical & Recovery and Myofascial classes target exactly that, and Yumeiho manual therapy sessions help release deep tension.
What causes lower-back pain, and how can movement help?
Lower-back pain is most often linked to long hours sitting, posture habits, and weakened deep muscles that support the spine. Yumeiho manual therapy works on the body's alignment, while Medical & Recovery and Myofascial classes rebuild the supporting muscles at your own pace — looking at the everyday habits behind the pain, not just where it hurts.
What is the difference between BodyArt Medical & Recovery and BodyArt Myofascial?
BodyArt Medical & Recovery focuses on gentle spine mobilisation, corrective posture exercises, and rebuilding deep supporting muscles in pain-free ranges. BodyArt Myofascial targets the connective tissue (fascia) using a foam roller and sustained deep stretches to release restrictions and restore mobility in the hips, back, and shoulders.
Are there classes for seniors or people with chronic pain?
Yes — Balance Fit welcomes older adults and anyone living with pain caused by age or health issues. Exercises are adapted to each person, so everybody can move safely at their own pace — the gentle tai chi and mobility work in the Balance class is a popular starting point for seniors.
Do you offer classes after breast cancer?
Yes. BodyArt Medical & Recovery sessions at Balance Fit support women during and after breast cancer treatment — gentle, guided movement that rebuilds strength and mobility at your own pace.
Do you have pre- and post-natal classes?
Yes — Balance Fit offers adapted sessions for pregnancy and postnatal recovery, focused on safe movement, posture, and core strength. See the Medical & Recovery class.
Do classes help with stress, anxiety, or poor sleep?
Yes — BodyArt Breathwork and Balance classes at Balance Fit are built around calming the nervous system through conscious breathing, slow movement, and deep relaxation. Regular practice supports stress management, eases everyday anxiety, and can improve sleep quality.
How do Yumeiho therapy sessions and BodyArt classes work together?
A one-to-one Yumeiho therapeutic massage and manual therapy session releases deep muscle tension and realigns the pelvis and spine, while weekly Medical & Recovery and Myofascial classes train the supporting muscles and mobility so that alignment and ease of movement hold over time.
